These Terms explain the rules for using PreMap. Please read them before using the app.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions are a legally binding agreement between you and PreMap ("we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the PreMap mobile application and related services (the "App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. The App

PreMap is a quick route launcher. It helps you save places, organize repeated routes, and open those routes in third-party map apps. PreMap is not a mapping, navigation, traffic, emergency, logistics, fleet-management, dispatch, or safety service.

Map routes, travel times, directions, traffic, address results, and location suggestions are provided by third-party map services. Those services may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or unsuitable for a specific situation.

You are responsible for checking the route, destination, travel mode, traffic, road conditions, and safety information in your selected map app before traveling.

3. Your Responsibilities

• Only save places and addresses that you have the right to use.
• Check route details in your selected map app before traveling.
• Do not rely on PreMap for emergency, safety-critical, or time-critical decisions.
• Keep your device and app data secure.
• Comply with all laws, traffic rules, platform terms, and third-party map service terms.

4. Local Data

PreMap stores saved places, addresses, cities, collections, route defaults, customizations, and preferences locally on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups of information that is important to you, including by using export features where available.

We are not responsible for local data loss caused by device loss, app deletion, operating-system changes, import mistakes, export mistakes, device storage issues, or other events outside our control.

5. Purchases and Paid Features

The App may offer paid plans, subscriptions, promotional offers, in-app purchases, or other paid features. Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to that marketplace's terms, billing rules, cancellation rules, and refund policies.

Subscription fees may be charged on a recurring basis unless cancelled according to the applicable marketplace or billing provider rules. Deleting the App may not cancel a subscription. You are responsible for managing cancellation through the platform where you purchased the subscription.

If a paid plan includes higher limits, unlimited use, or similar wording, that access is subject to fair use. We may delay, limit, suspend, or manage access to paid features to address excessive usage, automation, resale, scraping, suspected fraud, security risk, marketplace issues, third-party provider limits, service disruption, or use inconsistent with these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use PreMap to:

• Violate laws, third-party rights, or platform terms.
• Interfere with or misuse third-party map services.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the App or related services.
• Bypass subscription, purchase, platform, or access controls.
• Use the App for emergency dispatch, fleet management, surveillance, or safety-critical routing.
• Share, sell, rent, transfer, resell, or commercially exploit paid access unless we explicitly allow it.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use PreMap. By using the App, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of the App or our branding.

You retain ownership of the saved route data you create locally. If you send us feedback, suggestions, or support messages, you allow us to use that feedback to operate, improve, market, and support PreMap without owing compensation to you.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend, discontinue, or remove App features at any time. We cannot guarantee that the App or third-party services used by the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not liable for failures caused by maintenance, provider downtime, app marketplace issues, network outages, device or operating-system behavior, natural disasters, government action, labor disputes, or other causes beyond our reasonable control.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the App and your use of it.

We do not guarantee route accuracy, address accuracy, travel times, map app availability, location search quality, suitability for any trip, local data availability, purchase availability, or uninterrupted operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where liability cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, fraud, or mandatory consumer rights.

Where monetary liability can lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Where legally permitted, the courts of Berlin, Germany will have jurisdiction over disputes connected with these Terms. If you are a consumer, this does not limit mandatory consumer-protection rights or any mandatory right to bring claims in another court under applicable law.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of these Terms will remain in effect.
